Each year we hold a Club Gala, when all children are encouraged to take part, swimming against their peers, in a fun and friendly environment. Each child who takes part in the Gala is given a certificate, with the children who are 1st, 2nd and 3rd, receiving medals.
The successful swimmers from the event then go forward to swim in the Annual Inter-Club Gala against Garnock Sharks.
The club always needs parents to assist at the poolside when gala events are held. Parents do not need to be experienced to help – willingness is the greatest asset.
